Revolutionary War Trading Card Project--Snow Day Update

Students--please continue to work on your Revolutionary War Trading Card Project during the snow day.  See below for instructions on how to save the cards you make onto the class google drive.  If you still have not finished researching the information for the cards, please see the post below this one for the information on how to do so.  Stay safe and warm!

How to access and save work on the drive:
1. After downloading your trading card go to drive.google.com
2. Sign in using the e-mail alberthill112@gmail.com PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR THE PASSWORD IF YOU DO NOT KNOW IT--it is the same password that we use to log onto the computers in class
3. Then click on the 2017-2018 work folder and find your class period
4. When you have gone into your class period's folder press the blue new button to create a new folder
5.  After you have pressed new folder, name your folder with your first initial and last name
6. To upload your downloaded trading cards either drag and drop the card into your folder, or press the same blue new button and press file upload and then upload file and select the card you want to upload
7. Once you've uploaded your card right click on it to rename it and name the card based on the person, event, or battle it was made for

We've been working on presenting our podcast projects, and everyone has finished now.  Getting the actual podcasts up is taking a bit longer than expected, but the maps are ready for everyone to check out.  You can view them by clicking on the map project tab on the right side of the blog.

Instagram the Region Homework

On Tuesday students will present their homework that they did over tonight, 9/18.  The directions are posted below.

Instagram the Region-
You will make a picture of one of the eight geographic regions that has been assigned to you.  You will create a geotag for the location that states the name of the geographic region and will come up with at least five hashtags that describe the region.  The picture will be put on a half sheet piece of card stock paper or computer paper and presented during the next class period.

Students have been asking to enter the shout-out contest for flocabulary, this weeken dif you student wants to write an entry this weeks contest prompt is:

This week we covered a story reviewing President Trump's first 100 days in office. The article outlines some of President Trump's campaign promises and compares them to his accomplishments as president. For this week's contest, pick one of Trump's campaign promises and tell us how he did or did not fulfill it. Support your answer with details and facts.
